Lisa is a loving, but hyperactive, child who can’t sit still for long. Granny Weathersby knew that she could extend her sitting by brushing her hair. This was one of the rare and tender moments I remember of our last visits in her home, which was home to all of her children when we got together. They were the best times of our lives and that is what hurt her the most about giving up. She is in a nursing home now carrying on her ministry to others. We still have our family
visits, and try to pretend for her sake that they are just as good as the ones we remember in the old home.
