Fulfilling his lifelong dream, Larry Shelton walked from coast to coast and back, and I caught up with him as he passed my town. "You mean you stopped and talked to that old bum?" was the common reply I got when I tried to tell people about him. About how he was different and unlike their impressions, was a very deep thinking and talented individual. One completely free of our hectic way of life, not a bum, nut or religious freak. His world was different and refreshing and he was full of it and stories along the way. He is going to write a book titled, My Little Walk, and maybe some who wouldn't be seen with a "bum" or couldn't possibly depart from their own little world will get the opportunity to be enlightened.
